Owambe party Look

As August closes its curtains on us tomorrow, we would be ushered into the ’ember’ months and we all know that’s when the real parties begin. Its a period popularly known for lots of travels, festivities and even family get-togethers.
A very subtle eye makeup with a bold lips and a bright gele could be all you need for your owambe (a grandiose party thrown by Nigerians anywhere in the world, especially by the yorubas).
Remember, simplicity is the new class; just in case you are tired of using bright colors on your eye area, or you always find yourself wearing same look on every event, you might want to try this for a change – use a neutral eyeshadow and a pop of color be it on the waterline or tear duct. In this case, I used the turquoise kajal on the waterline to make her eyes pop, and a vibrant lip to fit with the entire look.
