If I could change one thing about myself , my sparse non existent lashes would probably top the list- at least after my brows. I have tried lots of products -voluminous/lengthening mascaras and finally falsies but none produced so much results as seen in the Ads. Though false lashes looks great on me but I can’t help with keeping my lids steady just to wear them- especially when you have to be the one to do the fixing.
My story and emotions were about to change when I stumbled on this mascara. So I first saw pictures/Ads of ladies on Instagram with elongated lashes and they were said not to be falsies. Like every other Ad, at first, they seemed too good to be true and my first thought was; Photoshop! Then I turned on my 6th sense which, amongst other things, gives me the ability to explore and take risks. (see more features of me in 20 Random facts about me). So, I jumped in on this one and yes, I got satisfaction. Its the Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara.
This product is really (Yo)unique in its features. Here are just a few reasons you should see this product as a good buy.
Our simple three-step process combines Transplanting Gel and Natural Fibers to help create the appearance of incredible thickness and volume to your existing lashes. Watch as your lashes transform into something you have only dreamed of! The 3D Fiber Lashes are water resistant but easily wash off with warm water and facial cleanser at the end of the day. Try it! It will quickly become your favourite makeup must-have!
The Younique 3D Fiber Lash Mascara comes in a classy leather case in which the Transplanting Gel & Natural Fiber tubes are housed. I was pleasantly surprised by the luxurious packaging of the mascara which looks quite impressive. The Younique Transplanting & Natural Fiber Mascaras come in a sleek black tube with differing wand. The transplanting gel has a wand similar to that of an hourglass while the natural fiber mascara has a slim wand with natural green tea fibers.
How To Apply Younique 3D Fiber Mascara:
- Apply an even coat of Transplanting Gel to lashes (prior to applying Transplanting Gel, you may also apply a thin coat of your own mascara, and let dry. apply to one eye at a time.)
- Immediately before gel has time to dry, apply Natural Fibers to lashes but use a lash comb to separate lashes so as not to look like spider lashes.
- Seal the Natural Fibers with another coat of Transplanting Gel (repeat the process 2 to 3 times till you get a good result)
This mascara lived up to expectation because i felt it would be another over hyped product. The first time i applied it, my sparse lashes looked so long, voluminous but clumpy. The next time I managed to get the fibers in my eye which was an extremely unpleasant experience, it takes a bit of practice to master the art of applying it. Make sure you don’t apply the fibers too close to your lash line otherwise it might end up in your eyes which may cause irritation.
